GSDI 12th World Conference

The theme for this conference is “Realizing Spatially Enabled Societies”. It will investigate the complementary roles of government, private industry and the academic community in improving means for sharing geographic data and technologies and developing better location-based services for meeting real world needs.

Environmental Pollution and Public Health (EPPH2012), Special Track within iCBBE2012

The 6th International Conference on Bioinformatics and Biomedical Engineering (iCBBE 2012) will be held from May 17th to 20th, 2012 in Shanghai, China. iCBBE 2012 will bring together top researchers from Asian Pacific areas, North America, Europe and around the world to exchange research results and address open issues in all aspects of bioinformatics and biomedical engineering.

ISRSE (International Symposium on Remote Sensing of Environment)

ISRSE is one of the main forums for discussions on remote sensing components of the GEOSS. The Symposium will provide a platform for countries with established and emerging earth observation programs to report on their progress and new initiatives. One key topic is societal benefits of earth observation. 

12th  World Congress on Environmental Health

The congress is organized by the International Federation of Environmental Health (IFEH) and the Lithuanian Union of Hygienists and Epidemiologists (LUHE). IFEH World Congresses are biennial. They are intended to promote education, exchange of ideas and experience, and facilitate personal contact. These World Congresses are structured to provide the broadest range of environmental health education and for many opportunities for individuals to interact.

IST – Africa

The conference IST-Africa is part of the IST-Africa Initiative, which is supported by the European Commission under the ICT Theme of Framework Programme 7 (FP7).

The objectives of the IST-Africa Conference Series are community building to facilitate EU-African research cooperation and successful exploitation of research results, to stimulate take-up of RTD results by industry, small and medium sized businesses and the public sector, to promote knowledge sharing between commercial organizations, government agencies and the research community, to exchange experiences about the current state of eAdoption at a sectoral, national or regional level, support International Cooperation and open up the European Research Area (ERA) to Africa.
