CeBIT 2010 (German-Spanish ICT Summit)

CeBIT is the world's largest trade fair showcasing digital IT and telecommunications solutions for home and work environments.

BITKOM and its Spanish partner association AETIC have prepared a publication on outstanding success stories in bilateral business cooperation between German and Spanish ICT companies.

The Science at the Summit 2010

 The Science at the Summit programme is accordingly presented by the South African Department of Science and Technology (DST), in collaboration with several European partners, on the occasion of the Third South Africa – European Union Summit, in order to provide a platform for:

  • Highlighting and celebrating the successes of past S&T partnerships between South Africa and the EU;
  • Exploring the potential for and planning for new initiatives to enhance S&T cooperation between South Africa and the EU; and
  • Ensuring collaboration in research and innovation is linked to and contributes to the strengthening of the overall Strategic Partnership between South Africa and the EU, especially with regard to economic and development cooperation.
First OGC Technical Committee Meeting - 2010

Quarterly OGC TC Meetings; participation in the technical committee meetings is essential for standardization work as well as the promotion of the project itself in the geospatial community.

VIII Plenary Session and exhibition of the Group on Earth Observations

The GEO-VIII Plenary will finalize the Work Plan 2012-2015, review progress on access to data and information via GEOSS, and advance many of the specific Tasks and activities that are essential to achieving our 2015 Targets.
