EO2HEAVEN was presented in iEMSs 2012, July 1-5, Leipzig, Germany

The aim of iEMSs is to enhance understanding of environmental processes and decision making by fostering the discussion and interchange of challenges, solutions, ideas, new methods and techniques, and future research lines in environmental modelling and software.

The article ‘Classification-driven air pollution mapping as for environment and health analysis’ (S. Wiemann et al, from Technische Universität Dresden) was presented within the session for Modelling social and environmental determinants of human. The article describes an air pollution modelling approach and its use in health applications within the EO2HEAVEN project. It is kept flexible and simple and thus, suitable to be used within a Spatial Data Infrastructure to provide access to real-time air pollution information via the internet.

Lars Bernard from TUD was one of the keynote speakers of the congress and referred to EO2HEAVEN in his talk. Kym Watson (Fraunhofer IOSB) also presented some of EO2HEAVEN work.
